How To Use
1. Pop them into your mouth as they are. They are delicious and super-healthy!
2. Blend into smoothies, juices, for a nice chocolatey twist.
3. Add directly to trail mix- nuts and seeds.
A great snack or a wonderful accompaniment to any recipe. We do not recommend baking with raw cacao nibs as high heat exposure will affect the antioxidant levels.
Recommended serviing: 4-5 teaspoons a day. You do not need to eat raw cacao nibs every day in order to benefit from them.
Store product in cool, dry, dark place. Refrigeration is not necessary.

Raw Cacao has high level of antioxidants (oligomeric procynanidins, resveratrol and the polyphenols:catechin and epicatechin) as well asphenethylamine (PEA, the fee-good neurotransmitter responsible for the feeling of love), tryptophan (mood-enhancer and a commonly deficient amino acid in those who consume a diet of mostly cooked food) and serotonin (a neurotransmitter that acts as a”stress defense shield” or an anti-depressant). It is also rich in magnesium, sulfur, good fats, minerals and vitamins.
Yacon Root Syrup, a pre-biotic superfood, is made from 100% organic yacon roots. Yacon syrup’s sweetness comes from a high concentration of inulin, a complex sugar that breaks down slowly into fructooligosaccharides (FOS) which is not metabolized by the body but do the job of promoting a good balance of intestinal flora. Yacon Root Syrup also boasts a good amount of minerals such as potassium, calcium, phosphorous and iron, as well as 20 amino acids. Antioxidants (scavengers of free radicals) like tryptophan, caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid, protocatechuic and ferulic acids are also found in Yacon roots. Very low in Glycemic Index (GI) < 1.
